Antigone Davoulas is the Director of Business Development in Counsel On Call’s Bentonville, Ark. office, where she creates strategic business solutions and provides legal counsel to top international brands and U.S. corporate clients including FORTUNE 500 and 1000 Companies.
Prior to joining Counsel On Call, she served as Manager of Licensing Business Affairs at Playboy Enterprises, Inc. In this role, Antigone was responsible negotiating and drafting a wide variety of commercial agreements for global consumer product licensing deals in addition to serving as associate counsel for location-based entertainment deals, digital applications and partnerships, and online media subscription businesses.
While also on the west coast, she served as production counsel for several independent filmmakers in connection with Chapman University’s Film Clinic as well as worked directly with Summit Entertainment (A/K/A Lionsgate) on the company’s highest grossing motion picture series, “The Twilight Saga.”
Antigone was sworn into practice before the United States Supreme Court in a special ceremony led by Justice Ginsberg in 2014. Prior to this honor, she spent her spare time publishing human-interest stories in the Mississippi Delta, ghostwriting legal blogs in San Francisco and conducting legal research all over the country for Reuters Westlaw.
She graduated in the top 25 percent of her class at Chapman University School of Law where she earned her Entertainment and Media LL.M. with an emphasis in intellectual property and specialization in the laws of contracts, copyright, licensing, and trademarks. She also graduated with top honors from the University of Mississippi School of Law and University of Tennessee’s pre-law and literature programs with a minor in psychology.
